CBS 42 Chief Meteorologist Mark Prater says the time to prepare for severe weather is now.
He shared weather safety information, greeted customers and even programmed weather radios for customers at Alabama Power’s West Jefferson Business Office in Hueytown.
And while Prater also talked about the process of predicting weather conditions, Alabama Power Engineering Supervisor Jeff Otwell also talked about the process involved when it comes to restoring outages for customers.
