Alabama Power is happy to help Neighborhood Housing Services of Birmingham. Company representatives presented NHS with a $10,000 grant through the company’s Non-profit Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP.)

NHS will use the funds to install better control systems on its heating and cooling units. When your control system is not programmed correctly, you can have your boiler and your air conditioner “fighting it out” in the least energy efficient manner possible.

By helping our neighbors at NHS keep their energy costs manageable, Alabama Power is supporting their mission to give working families more options to get into and stay in homes.
