This week, it all comes full circle and there will be lots of celebration.
Downtown Birmingham’s Lyric Theatre — after years of successful fundraising, construction and compromise — will welcome its first visitors in its newly refurbished building.
No matter where you sit, you’ll get a good view of the live performances. The theatre features nearly a thousand seats on two levels and 12 opera boxes.
A grand opening ceremony kicks off Thursday, Jan. 14, with shows running through the weekend. And that’s only the beginning. For more information on upcoming performances, visit The Lyric’s website.
