Chris’ Hot Dogs make the list of 100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama Before You Die

You will not have to travel far to eat what some consider the world’s most famous hot dogs. Chris’ Hot Dogs can be found on Dexter Avenue in Montgomery, Alabama. The company has been in business for nearly a century.

“People from around the world such as Martin Luther King, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Rosa Parks and Hank Williams have eaten at Chris’ Hot Dogs,” said Gus Katechis, co-owner.

Chris’ chili sauce was first made in the 1920s by Katechis’ grandfather, which made the hot dogs stand out.  No doubt, the hot dog chili sauce will keep you coming back for more.

Find out how this hot dog and chili sauce made the Alabama Tourism Department’s list.
