About: Based in Birmingham, The Burning Peppermints are made up of Jake Wittig, Daniel Powers, Ryan Colebeck and Ahmad Farzad. The band is known for mixing classic garage rock with a West Coast vibe. You may have heard the group playing all over Birmingham’s growing music scene or wherever they can plug their amps in. The ensemble has performed and toured alongside groups like The Dirty Lungs, Diarrhea Planet and St. Paul & the Broken Bones. The band will play music off its first album, “Dirty Rainbow!!,” at SlossFest.
