Coyote Drive-In adding miniature golf, holding holiday celebration in Leeds

The Coyote Drive-In Theater & Canteen in Leeds is offering its own celebration for this Independence Day weekend

A new 18-hole miniature golf course opens July 3 and families are invited to enjoy food, live music, new movies and a fireworks show.

Movies will run July 1-4 on four different screens. Each screen shows a double feature. “Finding Dory” and “Alice: Through the Looking Glass” starts at 8:25 p.m., “Independence Day: Resurgence” and “The Shallows” will start at 8:50 p.m., “The BFG” and “The Jungle Book” starts at 8:15 p.m., and “Legend of Tarzan” and “Central Intelligence” starts at 8:40 p.m.

There will be live performances from Earl Williams Duo (July 1), Todamaxx (July 2), Billy Gant (July 3) and Jackson Walls Duo (July 4).

The night of July 3 will also include a fireworks display with the movies pausing so everyone can enjoy the colorful show.
