Recipe: Cheesy Chicken Bacon Ranch Dip

This incredibly cheesy dip topped with bacon will score big points with each serving. (Southern Bite)

When the big game arrives, we might not all be pulling for the same team, but the one thing we can agree on is food. I like to serve this warm, savory dip with some thick, sturdy chips like pita or bagel chips, but you can also offer it up with some thick corn chips or even veggies.

Dip big or go home. (Southern Bite)

Cheesy Chicken Bacon Ranch Dip

Cook time: 20 minutes

Total time: 30 minutes

Serves 6 to 8

Ingredients:

  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 (2.8-ounce) package precooked crumbled bacon pieces
  • 1 (12.5-ounce) can white premium chunk chicken breast, drained
  • 1 (8-ounce) Borden® Cheese Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and lightly grease a 9 to 10-inch oven-safe skillet (or a 1 quart baking dish).
  2. Reserve about 1/4 cup cheese and 2 tablespoons bacon and set aside.
  3. Combine the cream cheese, salad dressing mix, and drained chicken with the remaining cheese and bacon.
  4. Mix well. Pour the mixture into the prepared skillet and sprinkle the top with the reserved cheese and bacon.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the dip has heated through.
  6. Serve warm with pita chips, bagel chips, veggies, etc.
