The Alabama Crimson Tide football team won a wild one in Oxford, Mississippi, Saturday night, surviving an offensive onslaught from Ole Miss with an onslaught of its own in a 63-48 win.

Many were surprised by the success of Mississippi head coach (and former Alabama assistant) Lane Kiffin against the Tide defense. Nick Saban said Monday his Alabama team is looking at ways to correct the mistakes identified in last week’s game.

Those corrections need to come quickly as the No. 2-ranked Crimson Tide plays host to the No. 3-ranked Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday. Georgia comes in with the top-ranked defense in the Southeastern Conference, so don’t expect another shootout.

Saban noted the challenge ahead.
