Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa gets his own bobblehead
It’s a big weekend for former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Not only is he set to start his first NFL game with the Miami Dolphins, but the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is honoring him with two new bobbleheads with a nod to his college and now professional careers.
The officially licensed, limited edition bobblehead features Tagovailoa in his number 13 Alabama jersey holding a football and leaning on an elephant. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,020 and is available only through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s online store for $40 each plus $8 shipping per order. The Hall of Fame and Museum also unveiled a bobblehead Tagovailoa in his Miami Dolphins jersey riding a dolphin for the same price.
Tua is slated to start his first NFL game Sunday, Nov. 1 when the Dolphins host the Los Angeles Rams.
The bobbleheads were produced for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum by FOCO, an official licensee and manufacturer of Alabama Crimson Tide and NCAA merchandise.
“Tua had a legendary career at Alabama and we wanted to celebrate that career with a legendary bobblehead,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “We think this bobblehead will become a fan favorite for all the Alabama and Tua fans out there.”
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is in Milwaukee and opened to the public Feb. 1, 2019.
