It’s so great it has earned a spot on the Alabama Tourism Department’s list of 100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama.

David Barclay, owner of 50 Taters, said adjusting to COVID-19 guidelines was tough for his restaurant, but he is hopeful 2021 will see an end to restrictions.

“I anticipate being able to take off the masks where we can rub shoulders again and be close friends again,” he said.
