Alabama Start-up Pavilion to showcase state’s tech companies at CES 2021 conference

Ten Alabama-based technology startups will be on display at the Consumer Technology Association’s all-virtual CES 2021, Jan. 11-14, the world’s largest and most influential consumer technology event.

The Alabama Start-up Pavilion booth will be among nearly 2,000 exhibitors showcasing their businesses, products and ideas with the biggest brands and innovators from around the world.

This year’s CES conference will be via an all-virtual platform to allow businesses, thought leaders, policymakers, media and the broader tech community to launch products, build brands and form partnerships to digitally convene.

By taking a seat at this table, some of Alabama’s most cutting-edge tech startups will have the opportunity to shine on the global stage and promote the state as one of the country’s brightest entrepreneurial hubs.

“Alabama isn’t just looking to the future – we’re creating it,” said Tony Smoke, senior vice president of Marketing and Economic Development for Alabama Power. “Alabama has the right tools, resources and ecosystems in place to help tech-based businesses thrive, and our mission at CES is to show these companies why they should call the state home.”
