Alabama Innovation Commission launches website
The Alabama Innovation Commission has launched Innovate Alabama, an interactive website sharing efforts of private-sector experts and policymakers to create a more resilient, inclusive and robust economy to elevate Alabama.
Created by Gov. Kay Ivey in July 2020, the Alabama Innovation Commission is the state’s first commission focused on entrepreneurship, technology and innovation. The commission includes a six-member Advisory Council of innovation leaders in Alabama and those outside the state who have strong ties to Alabama.
On the Innovate Alabama website, visitors can find out more about policy priorities, see the members of the commission, Advisory Council and university research partners. There are a number of ways to stay engaged by signing up for the newsletter, attending a virtual public meeting or following Innovate Alabama on social media platforms.
To visit the website, go to www.innovatealabama.org and follow Innovate Alabama on Twitter at @InnovateAlabama and LinkedIn at Innovate Alabama.
