In honor of Earth Day, Alabama NewsCenter will take a look over these next few weeks at some of the efforts supported by Alabama Power as the company remains committed to be a good environmental steward.

Earth Day will be observed Friday, April 22.

Alabama Power partnered with the city of Montgomery and others to create the Fairview Environmental Park.

This constructed wetland was designed to filter polluted stormwater runoff before it enters Catoma Creek.
