“Children are really your little mirrors to the great parts of your personality. They have taught me that we’re really raising up the next generation. Where we want to see change and the values that we want to instill, this is our chance. It brings into the forefront what type of person that I want to be and then passing that down – being a loving and kind person.” – Britt Puckett of Vestavia Hills.

Puckett is the mom of three young boys. Lately, life has taught her to be flexible and be able to pivot.

“With what has happened and how the world has changed, I think it’s important because I generally tend to be in my comfort zone. It’s been challenging for me with three kids and liking to plan. I like to be able to see what’s coming. Being a caretaker of three little ones, that’s what I gravitate towards, knowing what’s coming next. I like being able to grow with having that challenge and realizing I need to work on that part of my life,” she said.

These are the faces and stories of people from all walks of life who call Alabama home. People of Alabama is a Red Clay Media and Alabama NewsCenter partnership.
