After adding agents in most of the Southeastern markets (with the exception of Florida and Mississippi), the lake home brokerage firm has announced a more western expansion.

“I’m delighted to announce Lake Homes Realty is now a licensed real estate brokerage in Texas, our seventh state of operations,” said Glenn Phillips, CEO of Lake Homes Realty.

Lake Homes Realty is currently on a strategic growth pattern that has expanded from Alabama to North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and Maryland, prior adding Texas last week.

“This is a large market with national interest,” Phillips said. “As we’ve done successfully in six other states already, we are recruiting top lake real estate agents to join us. Our ability to engage buyers from across the country through our website will bring tremendous value to Texas lake home sellers and buyers.”

Phillips recently spoke to a group of students from the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse of Commerce about Lake Homes Realty’s growth over the past three years and how it has integrated technology into lake property sales.

Phillips noted that Alabama agent Justin Dyar, a member of ACRE’s Corporate Cabinet, joined Lake Homes Realty as an agent at Smith Lake and increased his yearly sales volume by over $10 million.

Lake Homes Realty currently has 4,152 lake homes listed for sale on its site.
