Winning and losing will always be a part of sports – and so will the life lessons they bring.
While Southern culture is obsessed with football and other team games, golf is a sport that encourages creativity and problem solving, while being accessible to everyone. And that’s why Alabama Power sponsored the Junior Clinic at the Regions Tradition on Tuesday.
PGA veterans Fred Funk and Tim Petrovic led more than 300 elementary school students through basic lessons about golf – and even more about the values of hard work and focus.
