High and moderate risks removed for Alabama; severe storms remain possible

The Storm Prediction Center has discontinued the level 5 high risk and the level 4 moderate risk for Alabama for the rest of the night.
This does leave a level 3 out of 5 enhanced risk for nearly all of north and central Alabama, north of a line from Pickensville (Pickens County) to Orrville (Dallas County) to Tuckersburg (Chambers County). Much of the rest of central Alabama is in a level 2 slight risk down to a line from Phenix City (Russell County) to Briar Hill (Pike County). Locations south of that line remain in a level 1 out of 5 marginal risk for severe storms.
Supercells capable of producing tornadoes, wind damage and large hail will be possible this evening in north and central Alabama.
