What’s something you’ve always wanted to do, but haven’t had the chance yet?

“Bucket list stuff? I have a little small business. I’ve been wanting it to blow up and people to know about me. That would be really good if I had that once I start to soar. Right now, it’s kind of like I’m still trying to get it off the ground. It’s a sip-and-paint business. I go to a lot of nursing homes, and I paint with the seniors. I go in and do paint parties for holidays, Black History Month, Valentine’s, Mardi Gras, etc. Also, I go into people’s homes and set them up. I also have a shop in Gardendale where you can come and sip and paint – hot chocolate, it doesn’t have to be alcohol. Right now, I’m going to an afterschool program. What I enjoy doing is helping people. I have worked with seniors, taking care of them, making them happy. When you get old, people forget about you. When I worked as a CNA, I used to take them to the activities when people came in. I wanted my people not to miss anything. Now, I’m the person that comes in, and they come see me and I still love it. I’m passionate about it and I enjoy it.” – Early Hudson of Fultondale.
