“Life has just taught me to be patient, wait on my time, and not rush anything. In several situations, especially now with the whole pandemic going on, there’s really nothing you can do but be patient. You can’t rush anything or figure this out on your own, so right now is a really good example of a time where everyone has to be patient. My proudest accomplishment would be how I’ve managed to make the best out of this. I’ve been living a pretty normal life, you know? It hasn’t been extremely normal, but I’ve been doing the best that I can with the help of my friends and family. I’m glad I haven’t went into any kind of depression or anything because of the whole situation so I think that that’s really good.” – Adryan Hatcher, 18, of Birmingham.
Hatcher is a senior at Ramsay High School and hopes to become a biomedical scientist.
