Festivals, fairs and more like you have never seen!

Moss Rock Festival

The 10th Annual Moss Rock Festival will be at the Preserve in Hoover Nov. 7-8. This Eco-Creative Festival will showcase live music, food trucks and art.

YellowHammer Fair

Birmingham’s first annual Yellowhammer Fair is Nov. 8 in Avondale at the Yellowhammer Fairgrounds (3917 2nd Ave. N). The proceeds from the fair will benefit the Jones Valley Teaching farm.

Christmas Village Festival

 The Christmas Village Festival is through Nov. 8 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex. More than 700 booths will display arts, crafts and a gifts show.

The Magic City of Art Festival

The Magic City of Art Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary semi-annual art festival Nov. 6 at the historic Carver Theatre featuring Java Lewis and David Murray. This event spotlights, celebrity artists, a wine tasting and art will be available for purchase.

Fall First Friday

Historic Downtown Florence will present Fall First Friday Nov. 6. This family-friendly event will have a variety of entertainment, including shopping, art and music

Alabama National Fair
The Alabama National Fair will be in Montgomery at Garrett Coliseum celebrating the best of the fall through Nov. 8. The fair features live concerts, food and children’s activities.

Alabama Soccer Festival

The 2015 SEC Women’s Soccer Championship matches are in Orange Beach Nov. 6-8. The festival includes workshops and competitions.

Alabama Pecan Festival

Mobile’s Alabama Pecan Festival kicks off the weekend event at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center Nov. 6-8 with country and western music, arts and crafts, karaoke and food vendors.

National Peanut Festival

The National Peanut Festival is celebrating the harvest season beginning Nov. 6-15 in Dothan. The entire family will be entertained with concerts, competitions and contests.

Nitty Gritty Magic City Celebrating Poet Andrew Glaze

Poet Andrew Glaze is being honored by The Nitty Gritty Magic City during an evening of literary entertainment Nov. 8 at Desert Island Supply Co. (5500 First Ave N.) in Birmingham.
