Enjoy delicious Gulf seafood and an antique car show during the Orange Beach Seafood Festival on Saturday, Feb. 27. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the whole family can enjoy music, a delicious meal and wares from more than 40 arts-and-crafts vendors. Try your luck at the silent auction, then admire a variety of antique, classic and hot-rod vehicles. Children will be excited to visit the Kids Zone, with a climbing wall, inflatable toys, games and a children’s performance pavilion. The venue is 4830 Main Street in Orange Beach. Find enchantment with the Birmingham Ballet‘s Sleeping Beauty at BJCC on Feb. 26-28

Your heart will thrill to the Birmingham Ballet‘s magically beautiful Sleeping Beauty on Feb. 26-Feb. 28 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex Theatre. Showings are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26; at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 27; and 2 p.m. on Feb. 28.

Enjoy the Monster Truck Destruction Tour in Montgomery Feb. 26-27

Bring your sense of adventure and your earplugs for this engine-roaring, all-American exhibition of the most competitive monster trucks in the nation. Showings will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26 and Feb. 27 at Garrett Coliseum at 1555 Federal Drive. General admission is $20 for adults and $13 for kids. Calling all DIYers to the Greater Montgomery Home Building and Remodeling Expo Feb. 26-28

Find inspiration and advice on everything from a total home renovation to a small update from experts at the Greater Montgomery Home Building and Remodeling Expo. The Multiplex at Cramton Bowl will host the Expo on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, and there’s no charge for children under 12. Get the To Kill a Mockingbird experience at the Monroe County Heritage Arts Festival Feb. 27

Perhaps you’ve read this classic Southern tale by Monroeville native Harper Lee, who died Feb. 19, or you’ve seen the movie with Gregory Peck. Now you can experience To Kill a Mockingbird and lots more on a visit to Monroeville for the Monroe County Heritage Arts Festival. Take in Tannehill and a traditional archery tournament Feb. 26-28   

Stroll through Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park and enjoy all the sights of early spring. See amazing archery feats at the American Traditional Archery tournament. The park is at 12632 Confederate Parkway in McCalla. The visitors center is open from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
