For the 10th time, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida Gators will clash in the SEC Championship Game.
Alabama is coming off a 52-3 win over Arkansas while Florida is coming off a disappointing 37-34 loss to LSU. But that doesn’t mean the Alabama players are taking the Gators lightly.
Wide receiver DeVonta Smith, defensive tackle DJ Dale, offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood and cornerback Patrick Surtain II talked about taking on the Gators. Surtain also talked about growing up in Florida as a Tim Tebow fan and the 2009 SEC Championship Game between Florida and Alabama.
Alabama has a 5-4 edge in SEC Championship Games against Florida. Florida will look to even the record when the two meet at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. on CBS.
