Summer weekends across Alabama are packed with events. Many of these happenings allow us to enjoy the beautiful, natural landscape provided by our state. Here’s a quick guide if you need help determining which cool events to include in your plans.

Alabama Restaurant Week

During this annual event, expect to taste some of the best food Alabama has to offer. It kicks off Friday, Aug. 14 and ends Sunday, Aug. 23 and will feature some of the most popular eateries across the state. Individual cities are participating with their own branded restaurant weeks. The Stolen Faces

Cleburne County Fair

This county fair guarantees something for everyone. It will be held at Ross Mountain Adventures Saturday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. For more information, visit Cleburne County Fair.


Logan Martin Blues & BBQ Bash

Plan for a great weekend at the lake with plenty of food, music and fun. Saturday, Aug. 15, Pell City hosts the Logan Martin Blues & BBQ Bash. Visit Pell City Chamber for more information on this event.


Rockin’ on the River
