“I love living in Prattville. I was born and raised here, so this is home. You know everybody can get to know everybody, and it’s just a good ole’ hometown. I moved away for four years when I got married to a Marine, but we moved back because I knew I wanted to be here. Other than that, I’ve lived in Prattville all my life, and I’m 61 years old. There’s no place like home.” – Betty Hall of Prattville

Hall is the program director with the City of Prattville Parks and Recreation Department. She said when you live in a town where everybody knows everybody, you quickly learn that how you treat those around you goes a long way.

“When you’re respectful to others, you get that right back,” she said.
