Sure, it’s Labor Day weekend and the unofficial end of summer, but that doesn’t mean farmers are done growing great fruits and vegetables and making them readily available at the farmers markets throughout the state.

For instance, one of the state’s most popular farmers markets, the Market at Pepper Place in Birmingham, plans to keep going every Saturday into December.

There are also vendors selling locally produced products that are must-haves during football season.
